saffron rice with crab meat recipe details
Ingredients
1 cup(s) | rice |
2 small | onions, chopped |
2 cup(s) | salted water |
½ tsp | saffron powder |
200 g | crab meat |
lemon juice | |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
1 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
1 tbsp | butter |
Instructions
In a saucepan, heat the water. Add the rice, onions and the saffron. Cover and cook over low heat until the rice is tender.Sprinkle the crab meat with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the garlic. Allow to soak for 10 minutes.
In a small pan, melt the butter. Add the crab meat and cook stirring for a minute.
Transfer the rice into a warmed serving bowl, fold in the crab meat and serve immediately.
