Ingredients

4  plums, pitted, halved, cut into wedges
100 g sugar
120 ml water
2 tsp anise seeds
200 g seedless grapes, halved

Instructions

Combine sugar, water and anise seeds in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.

Remove from heat and let stand about 30 minutes.

Put plums and grapes in a serving bowl and pour syrup through a fine strainer over fruit.

Stir fruit gently to coat with the syrup.
