Anise and fennel liqueur recipe details
Ingredients
1 | lemon, grated peel and juice |
20 g | anise, crushed |
10 g | star anise, crushed |
10 g | fennel seeds, crushed |
1 stalk(s) | cinnamon |
5 | cloves |
½ l | vodka |
200 g | sugar |
125 ml | water |
Instructions
In a bottle, combine the spices, lemon juice, lemon peel and the vodka. Allow to stand for 3 weeks at a warm place and shake the mixture every now and then.Bring the water with the sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool. Add the syrup into the bottle. Close the bottle and shake well. Strain through a sieve, lined with cheesecloth into a bowl, then bottle the liqueur.
Store at a dark and cool place.
