Chicken with Tomato Basil Sauce recipe

Ingredients
2 | chicken breast halves, skinless, boneless |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
1 | shallot, chopped |
240 g | tomatoes, chopped |
60 ml | dry white wine |
2 tbsp | fresh basil, chopped |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add chicken to skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet. Keep warm.
Add chopped shallot to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds. Stir in tomatoes and white wine. Boil until tomatoes release juices, about 4 minutes.
Stir in chopped basil and season sauce with salt and pepper.
Return chicken to skillet and cook until warmed through.
To serve, place chicken breasts on a place and then spoon sauce over chicken.
