Pear with mascarpone recipe details
Ingredients
1 | orange |
4 | pears |
50 g | butter |
1 sachet | vanilla suger |
100 g | caster sugar |
2 deciliter(s) | red wine |
150 g | mascarpone |
Instructions
Brush the orange and grate the peel. Squeeze the orange.Melt the butter in a pan, add the sugar and whisk until it starts to become light brown. Add 1 tablespoon grated orange peel and the wine. Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce gets thicker. Let it cool down.
Peel the pears and remove the core, cut them into 8 parts and sprinkle them with orange juice.
In a bowl, whisk the mascarpone with the vanilla sugar.
Put the pear parts on a plate and pour the sauce over them. Spoon the mascarpone alongside the pears.
