Pears in puff pastry recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | ready made puff pastry |
4 small | pears |
2 tbsp | cranberry jam |
1 | egg yolk |
To serve: | |
vanilla sauce |
Instructions
Wash, peel and halve the pears. Remove the cores. Fill the pears with smooth cranbery jam and join the pear halves on to another again.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Roll out the puff pastry (40*40cm) and cut in 4 equal squares. Place a pear on each square. Fold the pastry over the pears and firmly press the edges together. Whisk the egg yolk with a little water and brush the puff pastry with the egg.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the pastry packages on it. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Serve with vanilla sauce
