Chasseur sauce recipe details
Ingredients
6 medium | mushrooms, finely chopped |
15 g | butter |
1 medium | shallot, chopped |
300 ml | white wine |
3000 ml | vegetable broth |
150 ml | tomato sauce |
2 tbsp | brandy |
1 tbsp | fresh parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add the shallot and fry gently for 2 minutes.Add the mushrooms and fry until lightly browned.
Then add the wine, tomato sauce, stock and brandy. Bring to the boil and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Sprinkle in parsley, stir, and serve.
