- 2/3 cup margarine
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups mashed bananas
- 2-3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Cream margarine and butter until fluffy, add eggs and bananas until blended. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture just to blend; stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured large loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour; test for doneness.
