500 g | pearl onions |
1 tbsp | butter |
vegetable broth | |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Blanch the onions in boiling water for one minute, drain and rinse in cold water to stop cooking. Peel off skins.Put onions in one layer in a saucepan with broth coming up halfway. Add butter, season lightly, cover, and simmer slowly 25 minutes, or until tender.
