Ingredients
300 g | wheat flour |
50 g | rye flour |
350 ml | wheat beer (lukewarm) |
1 tsp | backing powder |
1 tsp | dry sourdough |
1 packet(s) | dry yeast ( 7 g ) |
1 tsp | sugar |
½ tsp | salt |
1 tbsp | vegetable oil |
1 medium | egg, the white only |
1 tbsp | cumin seeds |
butter to grease the baking dish |
Instructions
Grease and spread with cumin seeds the baking dish. In a bowl mix both flour, baking powder, dry sour dough and dry yeast. Mix wheat beer with salt, sugar and oil. Add beer to flour and mix well. Beat egg white until stiff and fold in.
Fill dough in baking dish. Cover with aluminium foil and let stand at a warm place for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Place a wide bowl with boiling water on the bottom of the oven. Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
You can use beer with alcohol or non-alcoholic.
