Welsh faggots recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | pork liver, roughly chopped |
2 | onions, peeled and roughly chopped |
80 g | beef suet, shredded |
100 g | breadcrumbs |
½ tbsp | dried sage |
salt and pepper | |
300 ml | beef stock |
Instructions
Place the liver, suet, onions, breadcrumbs and sage into a blender and process until well combined but not too smooth. Season with salt and pepper.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Shape the liver mixture into 12-15 balls. Place the balls side by side into a greased shallow casserole dish. Add the stock, cover and bake for approximately 40 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
Serve with crusty bread and mushy peas.
