Ingredients
Makes: 3 cups- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper, divided
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed nacho cheese soup
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 3 tablespoons sliced ripe olives, divided
- 3 tablespoons sliced pimento-stuffed olives
- 2 tablespoons chopped green chiles
- 1 teaspoon chopped, seeded jalapeno pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Combine beef, onion, and green bell pepper in a large skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring, for about 10 minutes until meat is cooked through.
2. Add nacho cheese soup, salsa, olives, green chiles, and jalapeno. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes on low.
3. Pour into glass serving dish, sprinkle with cheese, and dot with sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips or toasted pita bread.
