Walnut and garlic sauce recipe details
Ingredients
olive oil | |
1 ½ tbsp | plain flour |
60 g | butter |
15 | walnuts, ground |
6 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
2 | egg yolks |
hot vegetable stock | |
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
In a pan heat the flour until lightly browned. Add the butter and stir until creamy.Remove from the heat. Add garlic and walnuts, the oil and the egg yolks and whisk until the mixture is smooth. Whisk in stock until you like the consistency of the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Goes well with poached chicken.
