Ingredients

• 2 (6 ounce) cans water-packed albacore tuna, drained and flaked
• 1/3 cup shredded apple
• 1/3 cup finely shredded cabbage
• 1/3 cup finely shredded carrot
• 3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
• 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
• 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
• 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
• 8 slices whole wheat bread

Preparation method

1. Toss tuna with apple, cabbage, carrot, celery, onion, pickle relish, and mayonnaise in a bowl until well-combined.
2. Toast the whole wheat bread.
