Ingredients
Serves: 12- 6 slices day-old bread, torn into rough, medium-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. Preheat toaster oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place bread in an 8×8-inch baking dish. Cover with melted butter and toss with raisins.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs with remaining ingredients. Then add to the baking dish and make sure bread is submerged under the egg mixture.
