Tuna fish, mixed with lentils and spices, and fried comes out like crisp hamburger cutlets.

Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 1 egg
  • 6 ounces tuna fish
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • pinch garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves, or to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cooked chana dal lentils
  • salt to taste
  • pinch baking soda
  • 1 cup frying oil, or as needed

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins

1. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. Boil egg, and chop and mix with drained tuna fish. Mix with spices.
3. Make about 5 -6 balls. Flatten and fry.
