Vegetarian pizza recipe details
Ingredients
1 | simple pizza dough, recipe database |
1 small | eggplant |
2 tbsp | cooking oil |
some | salt |
1 medium | zucchini |
1 medium | mild red pepper |
2 medium | onions |
500 ml | tomato sauce |
1 tbsp | dried oregano |
salt and pepper | |
100 g | cheese, grated |
Instructions
Slice eggplant, salt slices and wrap in aluminium foil. Set aside for 1 hour.Slice onions, zucchini and red pepper.
Mix tomato sauce with dried oregano, season to taste with salt and pepper.
Heat cooking oil in a frying pan/grill pan. Fry eggplant slices until light brown.
Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Place dough on baking tray. Spread tomato sauce on pizza dough. Arrange all vegetables on top of tomato sauce. Scatter with cheese. Bake at 220°C for 20 minutes.
