Turkey ragout with peas and rice recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | peas, frozen |
1 | onion, chopped |
3 sprig(s) | parsley, chopped |
500 g | turkey breast, sliced |
200 g | rice |
5 tbsp | oil |
salt and pepper | |
1 tbsp | flour |
250 ml | vegetable stock |
Instructions
Cook the rice in salted water until done, then strain.In a saucepan heat 2 tablespoons of the oil. Fry the turkey breast stirring frequently for 5-6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Take out of the pan and set aside.
Sauté the onion in the pan until lucent. Dust with the flour and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the stock and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wire whisk and cook for 7-8 minutes. Add the peas and cook for another minute. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the parsley and the meat and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with the rice.
