Well, of course wine and bacon go together! What doesn’t go with bacon? (Or wine, for that matter.) Here, the dynamic duo pair up to flavor turkey breast.

Ingredients
Serves: 2- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) turkey breast tenderloin, halved and flattened to 1/2-inch thickness
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 slice bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh sage
- 1/4 cup white wine
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Combine flour and pepper in a shallow pie pan or plate. Dredge turkey pieces in the mixture.
2. Combine 1 tablespoon butter and the olive oil in a large skillet and set over medium heat. When butter melts, add turkey and cook for about 8 minutes, until turkey is no longer pink internally. Set on a plate and cover with foil.
3. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons butter to the skillet. When the butter melts, stir in bacon and sage. Cook for about 3 minutes to toast, then stir in wine. When wine comes to a boil, cook for 2 more minutes to reduce. Whisk in remaining butter.
4. Serve turkey with wine sauce spooned over each helping.
