Tomato sauce with onion recipe details
Ingredients
1 | onion, chopped |
4 tbsp | butter |
1 tbsp | tomato puree |
½ tbsp | instant beef stock |
1 tsp | flour |
1 cup(s) | water |
salt and pepper | |
1 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the onions until lucent. Stir in the tomato purée and the stock. Sprinkle with the flour and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes.Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in the parsley and serve with pasta.
