Unlike ice cream, sorbet contains no dairy, making this a great summer choice for lactose-intolerant folks. Or just anyone who likes tequila.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 5 mins | Extra time: 5 hours, chilling1. Bring water and sugar to boil in a saucepan over high heat. Turn heat down to low and simmer for 5 minutes, until sugar dissolves, then add remaining ingredients.
2. Let mixture cool to room temperature, then pour into ice cream maker. Freeze according to the ice cream maker’s recommendations, about 4 hours. Serve.
