Serves: 12- 3/4 unsweetened apple juice
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup cola
- 1/4 packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
- 3 to 4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 40 mins | Extra time: 5 hours, marinating1. Make a marinade by stirring together everything but the pork in a large mixing bowl. Pour 1 1/2 cups of this mixture into a plastic resealable bag, and add the ribs. Seal and squish around to distribute.
2. Marinate for at least 5 hours and overnight if possible. Flip it a couple times throughout the marinating process. Keep the rest of the marinade in the fridge, because you’ll use it to baste the ribs while you grill.
3. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grate.
4. Remove ribs from marinade and grill over indirect heat for about 20 minutes, flipping once, with the grill covered. Then uncover grill and cook for 20 more minutes. Throughout, baste the meat with the reserved sauce as desired.
