Ingredients
Serves: 8- 2 cups dried white beans, soaked overnight in water
- 1 bunch sage, chopped
- 4 cups vegetable stock
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 1 hour | Extra time: 8 hours, soaking1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and drain the beans.
2. Bring water and stock to boil in a Dutch oven or oven-safe skillet. Carefully add the beans and chopped sage to the Dutch oven, stir, and simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat. Then cover and bake for 45 minutes or until beans are tender.
