For frying either use the Recipe for Tempura Batter or use: | |
115 g | corn starch |
60 g | self-raising flour |
120 ml | water |
1 large | egg(s), beaten |
Vegetables: | |
2 medium | zucchini |
1 medium | onion(s) |
2 | red bell peppers |
vegetable oil | |
salt |
Instructions
For the batter:Mix corn starch, flour and water in a large bowl. Add water and egg and mix until smooth.
Vegetables:
Cut all vegetables into small pieces. Pour oil into a large pan. Dip vegeatbles into batter and fry in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
