Tempura batter for fish recipe details
Ingredients
40 g | flour |
15 g | cornstarch |
¼ tsp | baking powder |
⅛ tsp | baking soda |
2 medium | egg, whites only |
½ tsp | salt |
120 ml | water |
¼ tsp | garlic powder |
1 tsp | parsley |
½ tsp | paprika |
some | oil for frying |
Instructions
Separate eggs and beat whites until frothy. Make sure not to overbeat, white should be very liquid and should not form peaks.Fold all ingredients, except flour, together and beat only until smooth.
Dip fish in flour, then dip into batter. Fry in hot oil.
