Tasty tuna steak recipe details
Good with jasmine rice, cooked with 1 chopped onion in the water and the other half of the fish stock cube inside the water when water is boiling.

Ingredients
Serves: 2- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1 red bell pepper cut in small strips
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 3/4 cube fish stock
- 1 baby bok choy cup in small strips
- 2 tablespoon dry white wine
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tuna steak
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Bring 1 TBL oil to high heat, toss half the fennel seeds in the pan and let them get brown (2mins). Toss the red pepper & garlic and mix in with oil and seeds about 2 mins on medium heat. Ad the lemon juice and ¼ of the fish stock cube, dissolve the cube and then toss the baby bok choy to the mix; mix for 1 min then add wine and let simmer for 5 mins.
2. Crush half the fennel seeds and place on plate with salt and pepper and then coat the tuna steak to have those ingredients on the tuna. Bring 1 TBL olive oil to high heat, toss the tuna and let sear for 3 mins on both sides. Remove from pan and cut the Tuna to create stripes. Pour vegetable mixture over the tuna and serve.
