Tangy lemon pudding recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | ricotta, well drained |
1 medium | lemon, zest and juice |
2 medium | eggs, separated |
100 g | sugar |
For the sauce: | |
1 medium | orange, juice only |
2 tsp | honey, or less to taste |
Instructions
Preheat oven to to Gas Mark 6, 200°C, 400°F.Cake:Beat the whites until fluffy in a clean bowl.
Combine yolks with drained cheese, lemon juice and zest. Add sugar to taste. Fold in beaten whites.
Pour mixture into a medium-sized greased ceramic baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
Sauce:warm ingredients together in a small pan.
To serve:<7b> drizzle sauce over top of cake, slice and serve while hot or warm.
