Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
- 1 (6 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/3 cup plum jam
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 6 hours1. Pour oil into a large skillet and set over medium heat. Add ribs and cook until outsides are browned, then place in a medium slow cooker.
2. Pour pineapple juice over the ribs, then top with onion and garlic.
3. Cook on Low for 6 hours.
4. Lift ribs out of the slow cooker and set on a plate. Pour off all cooking juices and the vegetables, then place ribs back in the empty slow cooker.
5. Stir barbecue sauce and jam together in a bowl. Drizzle over ribs. Cook on High and 30 minutes, then serve.
