sweet deviled eggs recipe details
These are the best, sweetest deviled eggs around, very simple to make, and always a hit.
Ready in: 40 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 6- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon honey mustard
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- paprika(for a garnish)
Preparation method
Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 5 mins1. Put eggs in pan large enough for eggs to lay flat in bottom of pan. Completely cover in cold water. On high heat bring to a high boil. Reduce heat to a medium boil and cook 10-15 minutes.
2. Place eggs in bowl of ice water so the yolks do not turn green.
3. Peel eggs and cut in half putting yolks in mixing bowl. Mash yolks till almost a powder (a pastry blender works great for this). Mix in remaining ingredients (except paprika).
4. Put ingredients in egg white halves (an icing bag makes this much easier and more decorative than using a spoon). Lightly sprinkle with paprika. Chill and enjoy.
