This is a super simple peach cobbler recipe I learned in the fire house. It has 4 ingredients (including the pan) and is so easy, even a firefighter can do it!!!
Ready in: 50 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 12- 3 (16 ounce) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box yellow cake mix (cheapest works great)
- 1 pound margarine
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Pour all 3 cans of peaches into your 9×13-inch baking dish.
3. Sprinkle the bag of cake mix EVENLY over the peaches. DO NOT mix/stir/agitate! Just cover it.
4. Place tablespoon-sized dollops of the margarine all over the top of the cake mix. I try to leave no more than 1/2″ between dollops. I mean this thing is COVERED with margarine!
5. Place in your oven for approximately 45 minutes. I usually just bake it until the top is a nice golden brown.
6. Pull this puppy out, and serve it up. Of course you will want to add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream (and if you are lucky enough, get Blue Bell)!!
