strawberry and banana terrine recipe details
Ingredients
50 g | unflavoured gelatin |
500 ml | white grape juice |
100 g | sugar |
800 g | mixed fruit: |
strawberries, sliced | |
bananas, sliced | |
To serve: | |
whipping cream, whipped |
Instructions
Sprinkle gelatin into 60ml grape juice and let soften for 3 minutes.In a small saucepan combine sugar with another 60ml grape juice and cook over medium heat until dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in softened gelatin until dissolved. Finally add in remaining grape juice. Stir.
Place strawberries and bananas in a large loaf pan and pour gelatin mixture over fruit. Refrigerate until firm, at least 3 hours.
To serve, invert onto a serving platter, and shake loaf pan firmly to relase.
Cut into slices and serve with whipped cream.
