Ingredients
100 g | macaroni |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
15 g | butter |
100 ml | milk |
15 g | flour |
100 ml | vegetable stock |
100 g | red bell pepper, diced |
50 g | onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | sour cream |
20 g | capers |
½ tbsp | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente.
Melt the butter and stir in the flour. Cook stirring for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the milk and the stock, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Bring to a boil. If the sauce is too thick, add more milk. Stir in the bell pepper, onion, sour cream and parsley and simmer over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Add the capers and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Pour the caper sauce over the drained macaroni and serve immediately.
