Ingredients
16 | king prawns, raw, peeled, deveined |
70 ml | water |
70 ml | rice wine |
4 cm ginger, grated | |
40 g | spring onions, sliced |
1 tsp | sugar |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
¼ tsp | sesame oil |
Instructions
Arrange the prawns in a bowl that fits inside a steamer basket.Pour over the water and wine.
Scatter over the ginger and place the bowl inside a steamer which is set over a deep pot of boiling water. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes.
Transfer the prawns to a serving bowl. Pour over the cooking juices and sprinkle with the spring onions, sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil.
