Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chile powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (1 1/2 pound) salmon fillet, deboned
- 4 lime wedges
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 12 mins1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F and drizzle a baking sheet with 1 teaspoon olive oil.
2. Stir paprika, ancho powder, salt, sugar, cumin, cinnamon, and pepper together in a small bowl. Drizzle the exposed, non-skin side of the salmon with remaining 1 teaspoon oil, then rub in the spice mixture. Set on baking sheet.
3. Bake for about 12 minutes, until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily. Serve with lime wedges squeezed over each helping.
