Ingredients
Makes: 24 wings- 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings, separated into sections, wing tips discarded
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Oil for deep-frying
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2/3 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Combine flour, salt, paprika, and pepper in a large shallow dish or a plastic resealable bag. Dredge wings in mixture.
2. Heat oil to 375 degrees F in a deep fryer. Fry wings in batches for about 8 minutes until meat is no longer pink in the middle, flipping part way through cooking time.
3. Make the sauce by combining remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bringing to a boil. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, until liquid measures about 3/4 cup.
4. Toss fried wings with sauce in a large bowl and serve.
