Ingredients
175 g | butter |
225 g | sugar |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
4 | eggs |
1 pinch(es) | ground cloves |
½ tsp | ground ginger |
1 pinch(es) | freshly grated nutmeg |
300 g | flour |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
100 g | chocolate chips |
4 tsp | baking powder |
5 tbsp | rum |
1 pack(s) | chocolate coating |
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk butter and sugar until frothy. Whisk in the eggs one after the other. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, spices and cornstarch. By and by stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Add rum and chocolate flakes.
Put the dough into a baking tin and bake at 175°C for 60 minutes.
Coat the cooled cake with the chocolate coating.
