Ingredients
200 g | soya granules |
2 medium | tomatoes, chopped |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | ginger paste |
1 tsp | red chili powder |
½ tsp | garam masala powder |
1 tsp | cumin, ground |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
240 ml | water |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
For the seasoning: | |
1 tsp | urad dal |
1 tsp | cumin seeds |
½ tsp | mustard seeds |
Instructions
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add cumin seeds and urad dal and fry until light brown. Fold in ginger paste and fry for 2 minutes.
Add onions and sauté until light brown. Add tomatoes and cook until heated through.
Add water, soya granules, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin and salt. Cook until soya is soft.
