soda bread is a traditional Irish bread that is quick and easy to make, requiring only a few simple ingredients. This delicious bread gets its name from the use of baking soda as a leavening agent instead of yeast. With its crusty exterior and soft, dense interior, soda bread is perfect for slathering with butter or enjoying with a hearty soup or stew. The recipe for soda bread yields a loaf that is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, still warm and fragrant.
