Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey-Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup whiskey
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 7 hours1. Gently stir the egg, cheese, bread crumbs, onion, and beef together in a mixing bowl. Form into 1 1/2-inch meatballs, then place in a 4 to 5-quart slow cooker.
2. Whisk ketchup, whiskey, mustard, Worcestershire, and sugar together in a bowl, then drizzle over the meatballs. Stir to coat.
3. Cook covered on Low for 7 to 8 hours.
