Ingredients
1 bunch(es) | parsley |
1 bunch(es) | dill |
200 g | Feta cheese |
2 sheet(s) | Phyllo dough |
sunflower oil | |
100 ml | water |
Instructions
Wash the parsley and the dill, pat dry and finely chop. In a bowl, mash the feta cheese with a fork and stir in the chopped herbs.Place the two phyllo dough sheets one upon the other, then quarter them. Cut each quarter in two same sized triangles.
Place on each longer side of the triangles two teaspoons of the cheese mixture. Fold in the edges of the longer sides, then roll up the whole triangle. Damp the last edge with water and firmly press onto the dough.
Fill a skillet with sunflower oil at least 2 cm high and switch the heat on high. Fry the borek turning occasionally until golden brown all around. Drain shortly on kitchen paper, then serve whilst still hot.
