sicilian breakfast bagel recipe details
This bagel is perfect for breakfast or brunch. You can substitute ingredients to your liking.
Ready in: 10 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 1- 1 bagel
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 slice provolone cheese
- 3 slices pastrami or prosciutto
- 1 tomato
- one red onion
- 2 bacon strips (optional)
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Toast bagel to your liking. I like it a little extra crispy for crunch. Let bagel cool a little and add what every kind of cream cheese you like. I like vegetable garden. Add your pastrami or prosciutto or a couple of both. I like pastrami because of the zing of the peppers. Add a couple slices of tomato. Onion, as much as you prefer and bacon if you prefer. If you are not going to eat it right away wrap it up and you can microwave it for about 15 seconds later, but not too long because of the cream cheese.
