Ingredients
Serves: 5- 2 (12 ounce) packages angel hair pasta
- 3/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/3 cup (little more doesn’t hurt) white wine or sherry
- fresh lemon
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add angel hair pasta and return pot to boil. Cook until al dente. Drain well.
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter, saute garlic until tender, Add/saute onions. Add shrimp and cook until colored pink. Stir in white wine/sherry. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over dish; cook for 3 minutes.
3. Serve shrimp over angel hair pasta, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
