- Ingredients – Starter:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- Ingredients – Days 1 through 10:
- Additional flour, sugar, and milk
- Ingredients – Day 11:
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Starter: Place flour, sugar, and milk in a plastic zipper bag. Squeeze bag to combine ingredients. Bag should be placed on counter top; do not refrigerate.
Day 1 – Squeeze bag a few times. >Day 2 – Squeeze bag a few times. >Day 3 – Squeeze bag a few times. >Day 4 – Squeeze bag a few times. >Day 5 – Add 1 cup each of flour, sugar, and milk. Squeeze bag to combine ingredients. >Day 6 – Squeeze bag a few times. >Day 7 – Squeeze bag a few times. >Day 8 – Do nothing. >Day 9 – Add 1 cup each of flour, sugar, and milk. Squeeze bag to combine ingredients. >Day 10 – In three separate plastic zipper bags, put 1 cup of the batter mix. Give to friends with a copy of recipe. They should start recipe from day 1.
Day 11 – Put remaining batter in a glass or plastic bowl; do not use metal. Stir using wooden spoon; batter will be thick and lumpy. Add Day 11 ingredients. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans about 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Note: if unable to do on 11, just stir and save for next day.
