I emulated this rendition of Shrimp a la Diablo after eating a similar dish at San Carlos Bay restaurant in Guadalupe, AZ.

Ingredients

Serves: 6
  • 1 (7 oz) can Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce.
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. Philidelphia(R) Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 3 pounds Large Uncooked Shrimp In the Shells.

Preparation method

Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 15 mins

1. Place the Chipotle peppers in a food processor and puree, add cream cheese and milk and blend.
2. Wash shrimp in cool water and remove heads and shells. Mix all sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and stir until boiling.
3. Add the shrimp cook about 2 minutes. Serve over anything.
