Serrano Chili Sauce

Turn up the heat on any chicken or pork dish with this easy, spicy sauce.
Ready in: 10 mins
Makes: 8 tablespoons
- 1 serrano chile pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons fish sauce
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins
1. Toss serrano pepper with cornstarch in a saucepan. Add lime juice, vinegar, sugar, and fish sauce and stir to combine. Set saucepan over medium-high heat.
2. When sauce comes to a boil, simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken. Cool, then serve over chicken or pork.
