semolina pudding recipe details
Ingredients
60 g | semolina |
500 ml | milk |
15 g | butter |
1 | egg |
2 tbsp | sugar |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
Instructions
Bring the milk with a pinch of salt to a boil. Switch down the heat and add the semolina gradually, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Cook over low heat until the semolina has soaked up the milk completely. Stir occasionally and add the sugar and vanilla extract.Separate the egg. Whisk the egg whites until stiff.
Take the pan from the hob and stir the egg yolk and the butter into the pudding. Finally fold in gently the beaten egg white.
Serve immediately, together with compote or sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
