Ingredients1. Tuna steaks (6)
2. cilantro leaves (1c)
3. minced shallots (1/4c)
4. white wine vinegar (2tbsp)
5. white wine (1 1/4c)
6. unsalted butter (1c)
7. wasabi paste (1tbsp)
8. Salt and pepper (to taste)
9. olive oil (1tbsp)
10. soy sauce (1tbsp)
Method of preparation
1. Take a sauce pan, place it over medium heat, mix shallots, wine vinegar and wine in the pan. Reduce the heat and keep it to simmer.
2. Strain out the shallots and discard. Add wasabi and soy sauce to mixture and reduce the heat. Slowly add the butter, stirring it until it gets completely mixed. Add cilantro and then remove it from heat. Keep it aside.
3. Preheat the grill as hot as you get it. Now apply the olive oil on tuna steaks and season with salt and pepper and place on the grill.
4. Grill it for 90 seconds then turn the sides and continue grilling it for 90 seconds more. If you want the tuna to seared only then remove it from grill. Otherwise keeps it grilling for 1 minute more on each side again. Now serve it with sauce.
