Ingredients
4 slice(s) | sirloin steaks, approximately 160g each |
200 g | fresh goat’s cheese |
salt and pepper | |

2 tbsp | pickled green peppercorns |
2 cl | brandy |
100 ml | gravy |
100 ml | single cream |
400 g | fresh green beans, trimmed |
1 | onion |
1 tbsp | bacon, diced |
1 tbsp | butter |
1 sprig(s) | savory |
400 g | small potatoes, cooked |
1 sprig(s) | fresh rosemary, finely chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tbsp | olive oil |

Instructions
Half or quarter the potatoes. Divide the potatoes with garlic and the oil in a casserole dish. Season with salt and pepper and add the rosemary. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, fan on. Switch on the grill of your oven and bake for the last 5 minutes until golden and crispy.Blanch the beans for approximately 8 minutes. Chop the onion and sauté together with the bacon in a pan in hot butter until golden. Add the beans and fry briefly, tossing. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chopped savory.
Briefly fry the meat in an ovenproof pan in hot oil from both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Brush with the mustard. Cut the cheese into slices and divide the cheese on top of the meat. Bake in the oven at 160°C, grill and fan on, for approximately 8 minutes.
Remove the meat from the pan. Add the green peppercorns into the pan and cook stirring for a couple of minutes. Deglaze with the brandy, gravy and the cream and bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt.
Arrange the steaks together with potatoes and beans on the plates. Drizzle over some pepper sauce.
