Ingredients

For the Filling: | |
750 g | curd cheese |
1.2 kg | cream cheese |
12 tbsp | milk |
6 | spring onions |
450 g | rolled fillet of ham |
salt and pepper | |
mild paprika powder | |
24 leaves | lettuce |
6 | tomatoes, sliced |
3 small | cucumbers, sliced |
2 | bell peppers, red and green, cut in stripes |
12 slice(s) | rolled fillet of ham |
Instructions
Quarter the pita breads and halve the pieces horizontally.Stir together the curd cheese, the cream cheese and the milk until smooth. Slice the spring onions into rings. Finely dice the rolled fillet of ham. Mix both ingredients into the cheese mixture. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
Divide the cream onto the bottom of each pita bread. Layer with lettuce leaves, tomato and cucumber slices and bell pepper stripes. Set some vegetables and lettuce leaves aside to garnish.
Cover the breads with the upper parts and place on dessert plates. Garnish with the rolled fillets of ham slices and the reserved lettuce and vegetables.
