Pork and bean stew recipe details
Ingredients
600 g | pork for stew, cut into 2cm cubes |
vegetable oil, pepper | |
tomato ketchup | |
soy sauce | |
2 | onions, chopped |
2 | carrots, peeled and sliced |
6 | potatoes, peeled and diced |
3 can(s) | white beans in tomato sauce |
cayenne pepper | |
1 l | vegetable stock |
Instructions
Heat oil in a large saucepan and stir-fry the meat until golden. Add onions and cook stirring until soft. Add carrots, potatoes and the stock, cover and cook until the potatoes are soft.Add the beans with the tomato sauce and bring to the boil again. Season to taste with tomato ketchup, soy sauce and cayenne pepper and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes.
Serve with bread.
